Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring a Pharmacy Technician (Onsite) in West Sacramento, CA for a W2 contract position. Under supervision of a Pharmacist, you will prepare, package, and distribute medications in a high-volume, production-based environment.

The role requires active California Pharmacy Technician license and at least 1 year of pharmacy or retail customer service experience. Overtime is mandatory; schedule shifts vary and are onsite five days a week.

Qualifications

Active California Pharmacy Technician License (required).
1+ year of experience in pharmacy/retail/customer service setting.
Fast-paced, high-volume production environment experience preferred.
Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Reliable transportation for onsite work 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

Fill prescription vials with tablets/capsules and verify correct product/strength.
Replenish automated dispensing cells; scan product; enter lot/expiration details.
Perform weekly cycle counts and assist with discrepancy research.
Prepare cold-chain/specialty prescriptions per handling/packing requirements.
Pack and ship prescriptions while ensuring HIPAA compliance and patient safety.
Identify issues, resolve when possible, and escalate.
