Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring a licensed Pharmacy Technician in West Sacramento, CA, to support a high-volume production pharmacy. The role involves filling prescriptions, scanning, replenishment, cycle counts, packing/shipping, and quality checks in a fast-paced environment.

You must have an active California Pharmacy Technician license, at least 1 year of experience, and the ability to meet production and quality targets while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Active California Pharmacy Technician license (required).
• 1+ year pharmacy technician experience in a fast-paced environment; externship/training not counted.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to meet production/quality targets.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing/walking full shift; able to lift/carry up to ~20 lbs as needed.
• Experience with scanning systems, inventory, and automated/warehouse-style pharmacy workflow preferred.
• National certification (PTCB/CPhT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescription vials accurately by reading on-screen directions and selecting correct medication/strength.
• Replenish automated dispensing cells; scan barcodes and enter lot/expiration information precisely.
• Perform cycle counts and support inventory discrepancy research (root cause support).
• Pack and ship prescriptions while following HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.
• Follow SOPs and quality procedures to prevent cross-contamination and errors.
• Work on your feet for 8+ hours; maintain consistent workflow to hit hourly/daily goals.
• Escalate issues appropriately and support a team-based production environment.
