Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring an onsite Pharmacy Technician in West Sacramento, CA. Location is onsite with pay at $26.50/hr (W2) and bi-weekly payroll.

Schedule starts Monday through Friday with shift times that vary by site management; overtime is mandatory and you must be on your feet 8+ hours daily. Under a Pharmacist, you’ll prepare, pack, and distribute medications in a high-volume production setting.

Qualifications

• Active California Pharmacy Technician License (required).
• 1+ year of relevant experience required (no externships/training as the 'year').
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with production goals.

Responsibilities

• Manually fill prescription vials (tablets/capsules) and verify strength/quantity.
• Replenish automated dispensing cells; scan product barcodes; enter lot/expiration details.
• Perform cycle counts and support inventory discrepancy research.
• Prepare cold-chain/specialty prescriptions and assist with packing/shipping.
• Follow HIPAA and pharmacy SOPs; identify/escalate issues to leadership.

Education

Active California Pharmacy Technician License (required)

PTCB certification preferred

Pay $26.50/hr (W2) paid bi-weekly

Schedule Monday-Friday to start: Mon & Wed: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Tue/Thu/Fri: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM After ~4 weeks (based on business needs), shift may change to Sunday-Thursday: Sunday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Weekdays remain 1:30-10:00 PM or 2:00-10:30 PM (as directed by site management) Overtime is mandatory and role requires being on your feet 8+ hours/day

Overview Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, you’ll support a high-volume, fast-paced production pharmacy by preparing, packaging, and distributing medications while maintaining accuracy and daily production goals.

What you’ll do
