Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under the supervision of a pharmacist.

The position is based at the Wheaton, IL location and requires an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license and National Certification. The role offers a 35-hour week schedule and benefits as described.

Competenze

• 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in an onsite setting.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Illinois.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US drivers license.

Mansioni

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and verifies under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Assists pharmacist and ensures compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Performs clerical duties in the department.
• Communicates professionally, verbally and in writing.
• Other duties as assigned.
