Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician in Kannapolis, NC to support kiosk and in-pharmacy operations, including filling prescriptions, preparing orders, and ensuring accurate labeling.

You will drive between pharmacy locations, maintain kiosk machines, and assist pharmacists under state regulations. The role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with opportunities to grow within Amazon's healthcare ecosystem.

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license (or equivalent trainee/assistant license) in state of employment.
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
High school diploma or equivalent.
6+ months of working with computer and web based tools experience.
Valid and active driver's license.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.
Ability to read and understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels.
Clean driving record that passes Amazon’s Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Checks.

Responsibilities

Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company provided vehicle.
Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for return.
Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy.
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Work daily with Leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right orders.
Run automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications.
Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control.
Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items.
Pack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxes.
Sort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time.
Aid the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing.
Clean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas within the pharmacy.
Package medications for dispensing and for delivery
Work a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal site business hours
