Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy is looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for both kiosk management and in-pharmacy operations, including driving from the pharmacy to kiosk locations and preparing orders for shipment.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of experience with computer and web based tools.
• Valid and active driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.
• Ability to read and understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels.
• Clean driving record per Amazon MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company vehicle.
• Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for return.
• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Work daily with Leadership to ensure correct medications are put in the right orders.
• Run automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
• Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
• Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through workflow stages from initial dispense to quality control.
• Count and label prescription vials for bulk items.
• Pack and ship completed orders with proper labels.
• Sort and route boxes to ship at the right time.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.
