Genoa Healthcare in Meriden, CT is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted CT Pharmacy Technician license.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
• Reliable transportation with a valid US Driver's License.
• Must work onsite at 883 Paddock Ave., Meriden, CT, Mon-Fri 8:00am–4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of the licensed pharmacist.
• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinics.
• Orders, receives, and stores pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and updates inventory in the system.
• Assist pharmacist with pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicate professionally, verbally and in writing.
