Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist with technical duties in medication preparation.
• Select, prepare, and label medications for patients, including hazardous drugs.
• Support daily pharmacy distribution tasks and inventory control.
• Handle phone calls and route messages using proper etiquette.
• Document removal, stocking, and wasting of controlled substances.
• Perform nonsterile compounding and sterile IV admixture as applicable.
• Maintain storage areas per policies and verify patient demographics.
