Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center – Myers Park Pharmacy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time role (40 hours/wk, M-F, 8am–6pm). You will support licensed pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications and performing related duties within regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or ExCPT) within 18 months of start.
• No work experience required; 1 year of Certified Retail Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist with preparation and distribution of medications.
• Accurately select, prepare, and label medications, including hazardous drugs.
• Assist with medication distribution tasks and inventory control.
• Screen calls and route using proper etiquette.
• Document patient demographics and input data into the pharmacy system.
