Atrium Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at Carolinas Medical Center - LCH: Pharmacy in Charlotte, NC. The role requires assisting pharmacists in sterile and non-sterile compounding, automation, and medication distribution, with focus on safety, compliance, and efficient workflow.

The position features a 40-hour week, rotating 7 on/7 off schedule, 12-hour shifts (0700-1900). Education is a high school diploma; certification within 18 months is required.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification as Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or ExCPT within 18 months of start date.
• No prior hospital pharmacy experience required; pediatrics/sterile compounding experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist licensed pharmacist with technical duties in medication preparation and distribution.
• Select, prepare, and label medications including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
• Contribute to medication distribution and inventory control tasks.
• Screen calls and route using proper etiquette and systems.
• Support daily procurement, inventory, and outdate checks.
