Northside Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. This role supports outpatient infusion services and inventory management, working with pharmacists and care teams to ensure safe, accurate medication handling.

Required GA registration and at least 1 year of experience; preferred candidates with inventory experience. Work hours are 700–1530 in a full-time, on-site setting at our Georgia location.

Competenze

• Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician registration.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.

Responsibilities

Assists Pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech IV demonstrates proficiency to practice in four (4) or more functional areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient). Provides patient care services to adult, and geriatric patients in an outpatient infusion pharmacy satellite.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

PREFERRED

• Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
• Experience in inventory.
