Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Pharmacy Technician IV to assist pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing orders in a busy outpatient infusion setting.

This role supports multiple functional areas, including production, distribution, inventory, and narcotics, with responsibilities across adult and geriatric patient care.

Qualificações

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsabilidades

• Assists Pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders.
• Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals.
• The Pharmacy Tech IV demonstrates proficiency to practice in four (4) or more functional areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient).
• Provides patient care services to adult, and geriatric patients in an outpatient infusion pharmacy satellite.

Required

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

Preferred

• Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
• Experience in inventory.
