Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to support pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing orders. You will handle packaging and delivery of medications and work across multiple pharmacy functions to ensure accurate and timely service.

You will provide patient care across all age groups, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficient workflows in a fast-paced hospital setting. GA registration and one year of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Preferred: PTCB or NHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist in filling, compounding and dispensing physician orders.
• Handle, package and deliver pharmaceuticals; perform technical duties.
• Work across two or more pharmacy function areas (production, distribution, inventory, narcotics, etc.).
• Provide patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
