Northside Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to support pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing orders. You will handle packaging and delivery of medications and work across multiple pharmacy functions to ensure accurate and timely service.

You will provide patient care across all age groups, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficient workflows in a fast-paced hospital setting. GA registration and one year of experience are required.

Competenze

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Preferred: PTCB or NHA certification.

Mansioni

Responsibilities

Assists Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency to practice in two (2) or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient). Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

PREFERRED:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
