Schedule: Full Time
Shift: Evenings 3 to 11:30pm Mon-Fri and every 3rd weekend rotation.
Starting Pay: 20.08 minimum (Offers are based on years of experience and equity for this role.)
Shift Differentials: Increases for Evenings, Nights, & Weekends based on State and Job Profile
Sign-on Bonus Eligible – $5,000 (Sign-on bonuses are for external qualified candidates. Internal candidates – check with your recruiter to see what options are available for you)
Job Summary:
A Pharmacy Technician prepares intravenous admixtures, enters medication orders and maintains patient profiles, and assists the pharmacist in medication dispensing and order filling.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE CRITERIA (% of time)
Essential Functions: The following are essential job accountabilities and performance criteria:
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: One year of relevant hospital pharmacy technician experience, or two years of retail pharmacy experience is preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSURE: Missouri Pharmacy Technician Registration.
WORKING CONDITIONS: The job of Pharmacy Technician requires processing work at a rapid pace, with frequent deadlines within and outside of the department.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Long periods of sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and walking are required with ability to safely lift up to 45 lbs. And push or pull up to 90lbs.
