Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Lyndhurst, OH is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work under the supervision of a Pharmacist in specialty and inpatient pharmacies, including Pediatric, Critical Care and Oncology operations.

You will deliver medication services to in-house patients and manage take-home medications, while assisting with quality control procedures and upholding the system's mission and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification required within 90 days if not already held.
• Active Ohio Board of Pharmacy registration or willingness to obtain it within 90 days.
• Ability to travel to external satellite locations if designated as trainee.

Responsibilities

• Under Pharmacist supervision, support specialty and inpatient pharmacy services.
• Deliver medication-related services to in-house patients and take-home meds.
• Assist Pharmacists with quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
• Uphold MetroHealth System mission, values and customer service standards.

Education
