Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy in Forest City, NC. The role involves dispensing prescriptions under supervision and handling clerical duties in a patient-focused care setting.

The position is part-time with 24 hours guaranteed weekly and may flex to 40 hours based on business needs. Hours are Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm, located inside Clarvita building.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in North Carolina.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and verifies under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicate professionally, verbally and in writing.
