Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy in Raleigh, NC. The role involves dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with a one-hour lunch; location at 319 Chapanoke Rd., Raleigh. Prior NC license and accessibility to transportation required.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in North Carolina.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and verifies under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Other duties as assigned.
