Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and empathetic patient care. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where permitted, and help manage inventory and customer interactions across store locations.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and state licensure/certification where applicable, with opportunities for training and career growth within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice
• If state board has no minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment
• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists
• Deliver patient care and empathetic service in person, over the phone, and at drive-thru
• Complete basic inventory tasks and manage deliveries and returns-to-stocks
• Travel to stores across the market as needed to support business needs
• Adhere to federal, state, and local laws and CVS policies to protect patient privacy and safety
• Provide immunizations support where permissible and within training and certification requirements
