Job summary

CVS Health is hiring Pharmacy Technicians to support store pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and positive patient experiences. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed by law, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across shifts.

Qualifying applicants typically hold a high school diploma or equivalent and state licensure; ongoing training and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
• If the state board does not address a minimum education, must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions are filled safely and accurately
• Deliver patient care with empathy and ensure positive patient experiences at pick-up and drive-thru
• Complete basic inventory activities and assist in controlled substance handling per policy
• Support immunizations and other pharmacist-led services where law allows and training exists
• Maintain compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements during shifts
