St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to support pharmacists in preparing medications, maintaining inventory, and updating patient records.

This role involves high standards of patient care and adherence to service excellence. You will handle IVs, chemotherapy meds with aseptic technique, manage IV room workflow, and participate in medication distribution and inventory control.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• TX State Board of Pharmacy registration required.
• Sterile IV products certification (ACPE/ASHP) required.
• One year hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare IVs, IVPBs and chemotherapy meds with aseptic technique and manage IV room workflow.
• Select, charge/credit and prepare meds for patients, dispensing machines, floor stock, and crash carts; investigate missing meds.
• Deliver medications/IVs and floor stock accurately and timely.
• Complete monitoring and documentation (temperature logs, expired meds, shift duties, cleaning logs).
• Assist with inventory control of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
• Perform drug distribution duties as appropriate.
