Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician 1 to support pharmacists in providing pharmacy services, managing inventory and delivering patient care per Texas Board of Pharmacy regulations.

The role involves stocking, labeling, dispensing medications, answering questions, and assisting with medication orders and billing. Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• TX Board of Pharmacy license or intern license required.

Responsibilities

• Stock, prepare, label, dispense and deliver medications.
• Assist patients and staff under pharmacist supervision.
• Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate team member.
• Manage inventory and assist with drug purchasing and receiving.
• Enter medication orders from doctors or prescriptions and ensure correct billing.
• Resolves discrepancies and runs reports from automated dispensing systems.
