St. David’s Medical Center, part of St. David’s HealthCare, seeks a Pharmacy Technician II to assist pharmacists in preparing medications, maintaining inventory, and documenting patient records.

You will ensure patient-specific care standards and uphold service excellence for high patient satisfaction. You will prepare IVs/IVPBs, manage IV room workflow, and handle medication selection, charging, and dispensing across units, with attention to accuracy and timeliness.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Six months hospital Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Texas State Board of Pharmacy Registration or Intern License required.
• Sterile IV Certification through ACPE is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare IVs, IVPBs and chemotherapy meds with aseptic technique and manage IV room workflow.
• Select, charge/credit and prepare meds for patients, dispensing machines, floor stock and crash carts.
• Deliver medications/IVs and floor stock accurately and on time.
• Complete monitoring and documentation tasks (temperature logs, expired meds, shift duties, cleaning logs).
• Assist with inventory control of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
