Job summary

The Woman's Hospital of Texas is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will ensure prompt and accurate delivery of medications in accordance with Texas pharmacy laws and department policies.

Responsibilities include maintaining competency, keeping required certifications, managing inventory across the main pharmacy and drug cabinets, and communicating effectively with physicians, nurses, and records staff to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications

• IV Therapy experience is required.
• Possession of a Pharmacy Technician License (PharmTech).

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of medications.
• Maintain competence and ongoing professional growth per Texas State Board of Pharmacy rules.
• Support inventory management across pharmacy areas.
• Communicate effectively with care providers to ensure continuity of patient care.
