Job summary

The Woman's Hospital of Texas, part of HCA Houston Healthcare, is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to interpret, fill, and check orders, compound IVs, and ensure adherence to policies and laws. You will provide clinical services for all patient populations and supervise pharmacy staff while maintaining drug safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include reconciling MARs, advising medical staff, and ensuring supply readiness, with focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed as required by state law.
• Complies with hospital, pharmacy, and governing body policies.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, fill, and check physician orders for accuracy.
• Compound and check IV admixtures and ensure sterility.
• Adhere to policies, standards, and applicable laws.
• Provide clinical services to patient populations across all ages.
• Direct and supervise pharmacy staff and daily operations.
• Advise medical staff and patients on medications and safety.
• Reconcile MARs and review antibiotic sensitivities regularly.
• Ensure floor stock, inventory, and frame checks are up to date.
