The Woman’s Hospital of Texas in Houston is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist PRN to interpret and check physician orders, compound IV admixtures, and ensure medication safety. You will work under pharmacy leadership to deliver services for all patient ages and supervise pharmacy staff as needed.

Responsibilities include entering and verifying orders, distributing medications, reconciling MARs and supporting Acudose/Robotic/Meditech systems, with emphasis on policy compliance and quality monitoring.

Competenze

• Pharmacist with valid licensure.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field.

Mansioni

• Interprets, fills and checks physician orders.
• Compounds and checks IV admixtures.
• Adheres to hospital policies and laws.
• Performs clinical activities as directed by leadership.
• Provides services for all patient populations (infants to geriatrics).
• Directs timely filling and delivery of drugs and IV solutions.
• Supervises IV compounding and drug distribution processes.
• Consults with medical staff and patients on medications as needed.
• Reconciles MARs and reviews antibiotic sensitivities.
• Maintains stock and supports pharmacy operations.
