Fairview Health Services seeks a Pharmacy Technician II to support day-to-day pharmacy operations in a complex hospital setting in Minneapolis, MN. Under pharmacist direction, you will process prescriptions, assist with sterile compounding, and help ensure timely, accurate medication delivery to patients.
Requirements include a high school diploma, MN registration and national certification or eligibility, with preference for ASHP-trained programs and some experience in a complex healthcare
Location: UMMC West Bank Hospital, Minneapolis MN
Hours: 80 hours bi-weekly
Schedule: day/evening, every other weekend
Under the direction of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for day-to-day comprehensive pharmacy technician services in a complex medical environment. This may include unit dose dispensing technology and sterile medication compounding. The Pharmacy Technician II will skillfully use interpersonal, customer service, problem solving and collaboration skills to support and influence operational objectives.
