Responsibilities

• Maintains a specialized area and assists in pharmaceutical care.
• Enters medication orders from doctors’ sheets or prescriptions; ensures correct dosage and billing data.
• Completes paperwork to ensure payment for and delivery of pharmacy supplies; monitors lost charges.
• Coordinates the Drug Recall Process and maintains inventory accuracy.
• Keeps a clean, organized work environment under established policies and procedures; performs inventory control.
• Prepares IV admixtures using aseptic technique under supervision.
