Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in pharmacy or related field preferred.
• Must meet TX Board of Pharmacy options: Registered Pharmacy Intern (RPH-INT) or Pharmacy Technician (PHT).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a specialized area and assist in pharmaceutical care.
• Enter medication orders from doctors' sheets or prescriptions; fill per label and ensure correct dosage.
• Ensure correct billing data and inventory control; file paperwork for payment and delivery.
• Coordinate Drug Recall Process and assist with stocking and shelving.
• Deliver medications to patients and carts to floors; assist with IV admixtures under supervision.
