Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (PRN) at the Winston-Salem campus to assist licensed pharmacists with prep, labeling, and distribution of medications. The role includes non-sterile compounding, IV admixture where applicable, and supporting inventory and procurement tasks.

The position is part-time/PRN with variable shifts on the Winston campus. Requires high school diploma; Pharmacy tech coursework or certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist with technical duties related to preparation and distribution of medications.
• Accurately select, prepare, and label medications for patients, including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
• Assist with medication distribution tasks and inventory control.
• Screen phone calls and route using proper etiquette.
• Complete documentation for removal, stocking, and waste of controlled substances.
