Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I for an on-site, part-time role in Wexford, PA. You will work under a pharmacist to support unit-dose distribution and IV admixture programs, while handling routine orders, inventory, and documentation.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a CPhT or ExCPT within 24 months of hire with PA registration prior to start. Prior program completion and healthcare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or ExCPT (NHA) within 24 months of hire and PA Board registration before start.
• Preferred: completion of a pharmacy technician training program and prior clinical healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision with unit-dose distribution and IV admixtures.
• Handle routine orders, inventory, and billing related to medications.
• Process transfers, admissions, discharges, and maintain accurate records.
• Respond to phone calls and messages related to pharmacy operations.
