Responsibilities

• Processes medication orders including entry, preparation, and assembles items for pharmacist check.
• Maintains inventory and uses pharmacy computer systems per policy.
• Provides customer service by taking prescriptions and documenting information.
• Outpatient: validates insurance coverage and handles adjudication and cash deposits.
• Inpatient: compounds, stocks, repackages, and prepares IV medications and labeling.
• Central Fill: safely operates required equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
