Under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist performs routine and specialized technical and clerical duties for drug distribution to patients.
This is a full-time, 40hr per week, benefitted position. Rotating schedule.

Responsibilities
- Answers Phones.
- Prepares prescription and non-prescription medication and/or devices.
- Stocks and replenishes stock locations and automated dispensing machines (ADMs) and/or robots (example: shelves, carousels, Parata).
- May assist with orienting and training pharmacy department staff.
- Communicates supply issues, problems or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
- Assists in revising policy and procedure.
- Delivers meds to beds or patient care area
- Inpatient Only:
- Prepares or compounds non-sterile, non-antineoplastic drug products in accordance with USP chapter <795> under supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
- Maintains the hardware and software of the department's multiple computer systems.
- Outpatient Only:Electronically processes prescription orders and prepares prescriptions for verification by a pharmacist.
- Take verbal orders from providers, runs registers, performs production and data entry production.
- Processes third party claims.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in a health or related field, (with 1 year of pharmacy experience) or the equivalent in education and experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations.
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician with the NH Board of Pharmacy required
- National Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification with PTCB or NHA required
