Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, packaging, distribution and inventory management under supervision of pharmacists and fellow technicians. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork and adherence to regulatory requirements.

The position requires a high school diploma, Maryland Pharmacy Board registration upon hire, and certification within 2 years (PTCB or NHA). Rotation of 8-hour shifts and weekends is typical.

Qualifications

• Must become certified through and approved certification board (PTCB or NHA) within 2 years of hire.

Working under the direct supervision of pharmacists and alongside other skilled technicians, you'll be responsible for a diverse range of tasks aimed at supporting medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy is required upon hire.

Shift and Schedule:

• Rotating 8-hour shifts between 7:30am-8pm
• Rotating Weekends

Salary Range: Minimum 19.25/hour - Maximum 31.80/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
