Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory in the outpatient setting. You will work under the direct supervision of pharmacists and fellow technicians to ensure safe and efficient pharmacy operations.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, Maryland Pharmacy Board registration at hire, and certification within 2 years (PTCB or NHA).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy is required upon hire.
• Must become certified through and approved certification board (PTCB or NHA) within 2 years of hire.
• 6 months experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support medication preparation, packaging, and distribution.
• Assist with inventory management and stock control.
• Work under the direct supervision of pharmacists alongside other technicians.

Working under the direct supervision of pharmacists and alongside other skilled technicians, you'll be responsible for a diverse range of tasks aimed at supporting medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory management.

Shift and Schedule:

• Rotating 8-hour shifts between 7:30am-8pm


• Rotating Weekends

Salary Range: Minimum 19.25/hour - Maximum 31.80/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
