Job summary

Johns Hopkins Care at Home is hiring an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician in Baltimore, MD, to support medication preparation, packaging, and distribution under pharmacist supervision. The role involves inventory management and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations within a home-care setting.

The position is full-time with rotating 8-hour shifts and weekend rotation. Required Maryland board registration and certification within 2 years; a high school diploma is mandatory, with 6 months of experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required or equivalent.
• Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy is required upon hire.
• Must become certified through an approved certification board (PTCB or NHA) within 2 years of hire.
• 6 months experience preferred but not required.

Working under the direct supervision of pharmacists and alongside other skilled technicians, you'll be responsible for a diverse range of tasks aimed at supporting medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory management.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy is required upon hire.

Shift And Schedule

Rotating 8-hour shifts between 7:30am-8pm
Rotating Weekends

Salary Range:

Minimum $19.25/hour - Maximum $31.80/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
