Job summary

Johns Hopkins Health System is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, packaging, distribution and inventory control under direct supervision of pharmacists and fellow technicians. You will contribute to safe, high-quality patient care across the Johns Hopkins Care at Home network.

Join our dynamic team as an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. Working under the direct supervision of pharmacists and alongside other skilled technicians, you'll be responsible for a diverse range of tasks aimed at supporting medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy is required upon hire.
• Must become certified through and approved certification board (PTCB or NHA) within 2 years of hire.
• 6 months experienced preferred but not required

Shift and Schedule:

• Rotating 8-hour shifts between 7:30am-8pm
• Rotating Weekends

Salary Range: Minimum $19.25/hour - Maximum $31.80/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
