Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join the team. The position is full-time, Monday – Friday with days/evenings rotating shifts and every other weekend.

Qualifikationen

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Registered Pharmacy Technician in Virginia or Pharmacy intern license. BLS within 3 months of hire.

Aufgaben

Maintains an adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies.
Accurately pre-packs medications and restocks code cart and stock kits.
Restocks assigned areas, puts away unused medications, and uses the want book and inventory procedures.
Orders items, stocks shelves, processes returns and identifies vendor errors.
Accurately fills automated dispensing devices and unit dose picks.
Assists Pharmacist in drug selection and counting medications accurately.
