Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support front-line customer service across a diverse customer base in our National Customer Care Center. You'll handle inbound calls from members, pharmacies, and prescribers, ensuring accuracy, adherence to SOPs, and high-quality service.

The role requires 3–5 years PBM/pharmacy experience with HS Diploma/GED; a Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years Recent PBM and/or pharmacy experience.
• HS Diploma/GED; Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time support to pharmacies with point of service inquiries.
• Educate prescribers on formulary and prior authorization processes.
• Enter customer data and other relevant information into our documentation tool.
• Assist members with pharmacy benefit inquiries.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure contact handling accuracy and operational effectiveness.
• Effectively communicate issues and resolutions to customers and appropriate internal staff.
