Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support patient care and pharmacy operations at our Conway, AR location. You will assist pharmacists, handle data entry and dispensing tasks, and deliver exceptional customer service in a compliant, safe environment.

You will help maintain HIPAA compliance, support health and wellness initiatives, and participate in routine screenings and clerical duties, while upholding Kroger’s values of respect, integrity, diversity and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure (as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy health and wellness initiatives.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain current national/state registrations or licenses as required.
• Assist pharmacists with responsibilities not requiring professional judgment.
• Provide accurate reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing support.
• Help train clerks/technicians as needed.
• Prepare medications according to regulations.
• Verify prescription data matches computer records through post-fill audits.
• Support non-dispensing services via platforms and apps.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings per laws and policies.
• Provide additional health and wellness services as allowed by authorities.
• Enforce sanitation and safety standards and report unsafe conditions.
