Job summary

The Kroger Co. Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in patient care, dispensing, reception, and data entry. You will handle HIPAA-compliant tasks, maintain accurate records, and provide a stellar customer experience in a fast-paced store setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacist in responsibilities while assisting within scope of practice.
• Provide stellar customer experience during reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing.
• Assist in training clerks and technicians as needed.
• Compound medications per state regulations and perform post-fill audits.
• Support non-dispensing services via available platforms and tools.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings as allowed by law and policy.
• Ensure sanitation and safety regulations are followed.
