Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months prior Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Must obtain certification within 6 months of hire; company paid (passed) certification exam; immediate compensation increase upon certification
• Professional phone presence in a support/service capacity
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software
• Competent in basic pharmacy calculations

Responsibilities

• Process data entry of electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions per Blink protocols, focusing on complex entries
• Serve as contact for provider/physician communications, handling outbound and inbound calls
• Accept inbound provider calls with warm transfers; patient calls not part of this role currently
• Resolve open issues submitted by pharmacists, other technicians, and Incident Coordinator team
• Perform tasks in a safe and compliant manner per policies and laws
• Other duties as assigned in the Pharmacy Technician role
