Job summary

Hotze Pharmacy seeks a Pharmacy Technician focused on accurate data entry to support guest refill and prescription requests. You will handle calls, process orders, and enter data with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a smooth guest experience.

The role requires confidentiality, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; Texas registration is preferred. This is an on-site position in Katy, TX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Texas registration as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician registered in Texas preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Strong confidentiality and guest data protection.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming and prescribed calls from guests.
• Process refill and prescription requests.
• Enter prescription orders in PK Compounder.
• Request doctor authorization when needed.
• Assist in operation of Script Pro robotic dispensing system.
• Use Mail Order Manager for guest checkout and tracking.

Job Description

The ultimate goal of the Pharmacy Technician in data entry is to enhance the guest experience by facilitating refill and prescription requests for guests. The Pharmacy Technician will take responsibility for the following including, but not limited to: answering incoming and prescription calls, processing orders, providing an exceptional experience for guests. The Pharmacy Technician will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and will cross train to back-up other pharmacy positions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Set goals for accomplishing responsibilities within appropriate timeframes
• Engage in weekly staff meetings
• Complete assigned reading & submit book reports by the last day of the month
• Continually seek ways to improve processes
• Answer incoming and transferred prescription calls
• Obtain refill/prescription requests from guests
• Process prescription orders in PK Compounder
• Request doctor authorization for prescriptions as needed
• Check Hotze Pharmacy e-mail
• Assist in the routine operation of the Script Pro robotic dispensing system
• Utilize Mail Order Manager for guest checkout and tracking purposes
