Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician in Grand Prairie, TX. You will handle incoming calls, process orders, and assist staff pharmacists with dispensing and label generation.

Ideal candidates have pharmacy experience, strong attention to detail, and solid computer skills. LTC experience is a plus. Eligible candidates will join a team committed to CARE values and outstanding service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and respond to orders and customer inquiries.
• Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
• Maintain up-to-date customer information.
• Generate labels for dispensing and answer order inquiries.
• Triage incoming faxes by facility/department per cutoff times.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager
• Answer phones and respond to orders, re-orders and general customer inquiries
• Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information
• Generate labels for dispensing
• Answer phones and respond to order inquiries
• Clarify orders as needed
• Handle and resolve client complaints and inquiries in a timely manner
• Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician
• Previous experience in pharmacy
• LTC pharmacy experience preferred
• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Moderate to advanced computer skills required
• Great telephone etiquette a must
• Frameworks / ECM knowledge a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
