Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working in a pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification must be attained within six months.
• Proficiency with computers; RPMS/EHR experience is a plus.
• Fluency in Navajo or bilingual English/Navajo preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists by setting up prescription orders and counting from stock.
• Reconstitute sterile medications per procedures and prepare IV-related steps.
• Receive, store, and order supplies for the department.
• Prepackage and label pharmaceuticals for pharmacist review.
• Handle orders from clinic rooms and maintain stock levels.
• Provide training and orientation to new staff and students.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety policies.
