Dilkon Medical Center | Winslow Indian Health Care seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in prescription processing, compounding, and labeling. The role involves counting from stock, preparing sterile products, and ensuring accurate medication preparation for final check by the Pharmacist.

Preference for Navajo language ability and bilingual English-Navajo, with training in RPMS/EHR and pharmacy management software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; pharmacy experience preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification within six months of employment.
• Proficiency with computers; RPMS/EHR experience a plus.
• Fluent in Navajo language or bilingual English/Navajo preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist Pharmacist with prescription orders, labeling and dosing accuracy.
• Count medications from stock, prepare vials/packages for final check.
• Reconstitute sterile medications and prepare IV-related steps as required.
• Receive, store and track department supplies; maintain stock levels.
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and educate patients as needed.
• Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy automation; train new staff.
