Job summary

Aurora Health Care in Wisconsin is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support licensed pharmacists in medication preparation and distribution. Responsibilities include selecting, labeling, and preparing medications and assisting in inventory management and procurement.

  • Accurately select, prepare, and label medications, including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
  • Assist with medication distribution tasks and inventory control.
  • Handle phone calls and routing with professional etiquette.
  • Record and document procedures for controlled substances and inventory changes.
  • Perform nonsterile compounding per USP standards and sterile IV admixture when applicable.
  • Monitor storage areas for policy adherence and perform patient admission history entry.
  • Support immunization certification and immunization efforts under supervision where allowed.
