Job summary

Shrivers Pharmacy is seeking a Compounding Lab Pharmacy Technician/Lab Assistant to support daily compounding operations, batch large batches of pain creams, and prepare hormone creams. The role reports to the Compounding Lab Pharmacist and is full-time.

Responsibilities include labeling, recording in refill and log sheets, handling outbound calls, and ensuring accuracy in prescriptions batched for dispensing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Training: up to date on training and competency in compounding and USP 795.
• Yearly reviews and evaluations will ensure continuing growth in compounding knowledge.

orders and to fill premade compounds

• Lot, label, record in refill book all prescriptions made using DYMO, log sheet

and refills book

• Answer phones as workflow allows

8.Answer all phone calls that come into lab

9.Fill all prescriptions that are already batched

Training:

• Is up to date on training and competency in compounding and USP 795 and

Policies and Procedures

• Yearly reviews and evaluations will ensure continuing growth in

compounding knowledge

Minimum of 1 year pharmacy experience preferred High School Diploma or

GED equivalent. Registered as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician

Trainee with the State Board of Pharmacy preferred.

Scheduled hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
