Job summary

Shrivers Compounding Pharmacy in Crooksville, OH is seeking a Compounding Lab Pharmacy Technician/Lab Assistant to support daily compounding and component preparation. You will perform batch and individual compounding, fill premade compounds, record prescriptions, and handle light front-lab tasks as workflow allows.

This role requires at least a year of pharmacy experience preferred, a High School Diploma or GED, and State Board registration preferred. Hours are 9:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes compounding responsibilities on a daily basis.
• Batch compounder — uses bigger scale to make large batches of pain creams and hormone creams.
• Individual compounder — uses smaller scale to compound individuals, stat orders and to fill premade compounds.
• Compounding, Lot, label, record in refill book all prescriptions made using DYMO, log sheet and refills book.
• Answer phones as workflow allows, order entry, and fill all prescriptions already batched.

Responsibilities:

1. Completes compounding responsibilities on a daily basis

4. Individual compounder-uses smaller scale to compound individuals, stat

6. Compounding

8. and refills book
9. Answer phones as workflow allows
10. Order entry
11. 8.Answer all phone calls that come into lab
12. 9.Fill all prescriptions that are already batched
13. 10.Refill calls daily

Training:

• Is up to date on training and competency in compounding and USP 795 and

Policies and Procedures

• Yearly reviews and evaluations will ensure continuing growth in

compounding knowledge

Minimum of 1 year pharmacy experience preferred High School Diploma or

GED equivalent. Registered as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician

Trainee with the State Board of Pharmacy preferred.

Scheduled hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
