Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy. Primary duties include dispensing prescriptions and clerical support under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision.

The role is based at multiple Michigan sites (Ypsilanti, Monroe, Ann Arbor) with a 35-hour schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm EST. Training and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Ability to travel to Monroe and Ann Arbor sites when needed.
• Successful completion of required safety and professional coursework.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist pharmacist with pharmacy functions and ensure federal/state compliance.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
